Between the Lines

Between the Lines

A Poem by H.L. Cerveise

Between the Lines

They say, read between the lines!

Is not the meaning behind the lines?

Is it not just white space between the lines?

Maybe there are universes there I can almost see.

If I say I see them clearly, then what?

Shall I spend an eternity exploring their depth?

Would it be best to ignore them?

Pretend I only see the lines?

When everything between the lines appear. The lines disappear

Very true.
interesting concept...exploring the depth of the empty space between the lines---
physically there is nothing...mentally, maybe...but often what is not said is more important than what is actually said.
