I have just been browsing through some of your poems/haikus. I really enjoy how you're able to capture so much in just a few words in this haiku, it's very impressive. I chose this piece as it's one of the pieces I have enjoyed the most so far. I also really like all the beautiful pictures you've chosen to accompany your pieces. They really stand out and add that much more, in my opinion. I am new to writing haikus, so I am very happy to have stumbled upon your page and writings. You're very welcome. I am not familiar William Liston (though the name rings a bell for some reason), but I have just found his page on here after your mentioning of him, and I look forward to reading his work as well as more of yours.

No need to apologize, as I do not find that strange at all. I can relate to the writing taking over and leading the direction, tone, and style of a piece. I also find that instinctual writings tends turns to out much better than whenever I try to pre-meditate with a game-plan or any preconceived idea. But yes, I thought this was very well executed, and I look forward to reading more of your work and observing your different styles.
