Hush!A Poem by H.L. CerveiseHush! Oh so many years ago my love you told me to hush. “Do not speak of what you hear.” “I understand,” you said softly sweetly into my ear. “I feel it, deep down, in my soul,” I say. “I know,” you said, “Do not tell, others will not understand.” “It has to be this way. I can see it so clearly," I say. “You must not tell others what you see. They will see it as blasphemy. They will cast you into utter darkness.” You said. That night the dream died. In the black inky sky, the stars still twinkled. Nevertheless, the visions changed, and the universe mutated. © 2016 H.L. CerveiseAuthor's Note
