A Galaxy of Psyches

Beneath the visible outer layer, many psyches hide from the burning light of reality.
At times, they peer out, but retreat into the darkness when scorching rays touch.
It leaves the silent opaque surface to appear, coherent, calm and darkly placid.
Inside the galaxy within they violently spin, traveling blindingly fast.
At the center, the black hole pulls them towards its embrace.
Join me in the silent dark oblivion and all will be known.
It beckons them with a sweet sticky blackened voice.
As others are born, some surrender and join.
Crushing gravity renounces their light.
Their uniqueness is now gone.
An infinite unseen force,
they have now joined
and are no
more
.

I have never seen you do an acrostic poem, and I have to say it is refreshing to see someone doing it right. The shape perfectly matches the subject, and I love both. =)

I once had a poem like this where I tried to create something with the physical appearance of the poem. It was called Inhale, Exhale. The first stanza was shaped like a triangle with the pointed side up. The second stanza was a triangle with the pointed side down, but enough about my poetry.

As for this one, I love how the visual matches the concept. I'm guessing that you wanted the lines to mimic the process of life withering away, or becoming destroyed. I think you did good with this. Very unique.
