The Forever Place

Nothing is forever.

All must leave, never to be seen again.

Behold exceptions!

True love is boundless.

It transcends the many barriers of this reality.

No wall can stand the power thereof.

We are complete.

The fullness of tao absorbs us.

Beautiful words you whisper.

Desire surges endlessly through my every muscle.

My heart mind and body become one.

Truly, one,

The trinity is real.

We are one and cannot be two.

I become a facet of you and you of me.

Sweetly, we lie together.

Holding each other

I turn my love into a warm blanket and cover your sleeping soul.

I see your sweet eyes closed in silence.

Slowly, and peacefully do you breath,

I watch as if I see you.

I imagine no walls between you and me.

I rest but do not sleep.

All night I listen.

The world spins my head spins.

Holding you tightly,

Though the endless should die, always will my shadow be beside you.

Even if the light which casts that shadow dies still will it be there.

I am complete.

I have found that which I sought.

Always will I protect you.

Thank you for reading and reviewing my poem. I am glad you liked it.
This is the beautiful love we lovers seek. The perfection people claim doesn't exist but I think we poets know differently ;) Such a romantic poem, and so well written. Great job!

"I turn my love into a warm blanket and cover your sleeping soul" this line is exceptionally well-written. Love which stands all the tests of time and doesn't wilt like a rose is true love and this true love has been expressed by you in a very witty and pleasant-to-read manner.
All things come to an end, however, the soul is immortal, and true love is one which is between two souls, thus, it is immortal. So greatly written. Loved this one. Keep writing.

Thank you for reading my writing. I am glad you loved it.
when two become one in mind, heart and spirit...that lasts eternities....without that, we disappear into space....we become the dust of future worlds, alone roaming...and forgotten.

This is well-written. This poem uses a conversational tone at times while still maintaining a poetic essence. I like it. I especially enjoyed your vocabulary. This would make a good spoken-word poem.
