Confusion

Confusion

A Poem by H.L. Cerveise

Confusion

The world rips me apart.

I rip the world apart.

The pieces fall scattering about.

I put the world together.

The world glues me together.

Distortion becomes clear.

Clearness becomes distorted.

Life dies, and death is born.

Reality shifts again and again, fantasy disappears and reappears.

Completeness comes and goes.

Confusion and Wu Li undulate.

Which is which I question?

What is the question?

I fear I will lose that which I found.

That completeness will vanish.

The hellish gray walls will banish me from that beautiful heaven.

I have not won and will not.

I reached but will still lose.

Damned be my heart, forever my tears scream through my veins.

I found reality, but the reality wants me not.

My sorrow will fill the river of Styx.

Sadness will claw at the ceiling.

Anger will engulf as hate in this world endures.

The stone has broken the glass.

Energy filled gas escapes into the cold void.

As it spreads weaker it be.

Purpose does it lose.

It floats free but senseless.

Day dreams hide behind the burning fire.

Night dreams cause cold terror.

It must die!

Even so, it is godlessly endless,

Forever be entrapped in a moment.

A very engaging poem there. Many sarcastic lines have been written- which made me ponder over them for some time. A lovable, likable poem. Keep writing.
