One's wanderings through life does not end when one has found the end of the trail but when one has found the path to one's self.
What is one's purpose? Is it to gain wealth? Should one seek pleasure and avoid pain? Is beauty the eye of all? Must one live simply or in complexity? Mind no thought or think all? Trust all or none?
One must learn of one. Develop that which exists from within. Love yourself for your own sake. Give all and nothing to one. See with one's every sense. Despise pain and enjoy all pleasure, but seek nor avoid neither. Be not concerned with simplicity nor complexity that which is, will always be.
When one finds one, all is found. What one possess other can share. For one is other. Loving one is loving other. Pain of one is pain for other. Pleasure can be felt for both who partake. There be no clear bounds where one ends and other begins.
The infinite is found from within and without. Strength cannot exist without weakness. Courage is seen in anger. Love that dwells in the windowless house of fear soon dies. All living beings must learn to be meat and eat meat. One who has seen one's reflection in the mirror of other has seen all.
Wonderful and powerful words and thoughts.
"Love that dwells in the windowless house of fear soon dies.
All living beings must learn to be meat and eat meat.
One who has seen one's reflection in the mirror of other has seen all."
The above solid and true. We are the same in many ways. We need food, shelter and safe place to live. Hard to understand how men can see the other as different. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

When I wrote this one, I was for sure standing on my soapbox, and it just flowed out of me so fast.
You can not have one without the other.
I really enjoyed reading this. Very smart with the way you used your words.

Absolutely great, sir. Balance in life is really essential, as you have highlighted in your poem beautifully. Had sorrow not been there, could we have found pleasure in bliss? Really, nice. "One who has seen one's reflection in the mirror of other has seen all." Awesome.
