Musings of Janus

Musings of Janus

A Poem by H.L. Cerveise

Musings of Janus

There is no meaning in anything,
However, everything has a purpose.

A cold winter gale carries the death,
Nevertheless, a warm spring breeze foretells of the rebirth.

Someone's soft touch can do nothing,
Even so, to the one being touched it heals the spirit.

Grime thoughts can lead to a listless darkness,
However, sparks of light continue to fire in the grayness.

The body trembles in fear and pain,
Nevertheless, the heart continues to beat strong deep inside.

In the light of the day not all is revealed,
Even so, the starry night sky reveals eternity.
