SnowflakesA Poem by H.L. CerveiseSnowflakes I sit and watch as the snowflakes hit my windshield For a moment they stick I see their lovely intricate shapes In a short while they melt Then each rolls down as water I think of them being created high up in the clouds Each one starts from a spec of dirt In the cold surrounded by others Thin vapor encloses that spec They grow too heavy and fall to earth Now both the dirt and the water has returned Back to its lowest state Once again to join the rest I am not saddened by this For I know the cycle has no end
