Broken Vows (Chapter 6)A Story by Harsh Kumar Chaudhary6 HOTEL CONRAD The luxurious suite on the top floor had two balconies
opposite each other; one allowed the view of the city covered in fog and
breeze, and the additional balcony showed the mountain's greenery. They entered
the suite with Lakshya resting his hand on her waist. Richa went to the balcony
and appreciated his choice of places. Richa then got freshened up, and Lakshya ordered
dinner. It was already midnight, but no one was tired. The suite, the bed, the
cold wind, the rose essence, and the dim lights prepared their subconscious for
an intimate night. When she went to the balcony to attend some calls, he took
out the lingerie set and lay it on the bed with rose petals sprinkled on it. Richa came and saw it. A blushing tight-lipped smile equipped
her face. She sensed an arousing atmosphere taking over the room. Cold wind
brushed the heat of their body. She took her undies and went to the washroom.
Lakshya was quick to spray the aromatic room freshener around the bed. She came
out with a bathrobe wrapped around her. She stood before the mirror, teasing
him, running hands over the Bathrobe on her curves. Lakshya bit his lips. She
slowly slid down the Bathrobe to reveal her curvy body. She turned to face him,
a shy smile on her lips. He noticed the lingerie fit her perfectly. He couldn't
take his eyes off her, drinking at the sight of her in the delicate lace and
silk. He walked towards her, pulling her into his arms and pressing his lips to
hers. She moaned softly into the kiss, her arms winding around his neck. he
picked her up, carrying her to the bed, never breaking the kiss. After a few
moments, they reluctantly pulled apart, gazing deeply into each other's eyes.
For a moment, neither of them said a word. The moment's intensity was visible,
and it seemed like time had stopped. He could feel his heart racing in
anticipation as he drew nearer. Richa seemed to be in a trance, and Lakshya
took the opportunity to lightly trace his fingertips along her jawline and
neck. Richa felt a shiver of pleasure run through her body, and she closed her
eyes, leaning into Lakshya's touch. Lakshya moved closer until their lips met
again, and the kiss sent sparks through both of them. Richa wrapped her arms
around Lakshya's neck, and he ran his hands through her hair, deepening the
kiss. Fighting tongues were there desperate language, her spit tasted like juicy fruit, Breaking the kiss to catch their breath. Finally, Lakshya spoke: "I love you." Richa smiled and replied, "I love you too."
As they lay entwined in sheets, they whispered sweet nothings to each other,
their love and passion evident in every touch and every kiss. They embraced,
and Lakshya whispered gentle words of love in Richa's ear. At that moment,
everything felt perfect, but only one of them knew that the home they were
building on the foundation of lies would only shatter one day and injure not
only the residents, Lakshya and Richa, but also the silent tenant, Vaidehi. The 3-day
vacation came to an end in a snap. They were so physically invested in each
other that they barely stepped out of their suite. Either the skin was their
outfit or the Bathrobe. Their luggage was useless; they used only a toothbrush
from their 3-day packing. On the last day, they didn't even brush their teeth;
rubbing their tongues in a stale breath kiss was a new way to clean their
mouth. Lakshya ignored all calls, including Vaidehi's. He put his phone on DND.
There wasn't anything left to explore physically; now, on the way back home,
their journey of exploring the other emotionally started. This was the first
time when Richa chose to talk about family. 'I was born and brought up in
Kanpur. My father is in the BSF (Border Security Force) posted at Wagah Border.
My mother is Professor at Kanpur University, and my younger brother works for
an IT company in Bangalore.' She felt comfortable telling him all this. She
sighed with relief, like she had this intentionally suppressed for a long time,
but now was when she felt comfortable enough to reveal it. It was his turn to reveal his past half-truth.
Steering back home on the Bangalore-Mumbai highway, 'I lost my father at a
young age; he was a master at chess; when he was leaving home for another
international match, he met with an accident. My mother was pregnant. The
demise of my father pushed her into depression and two months later she
delivered my brother, dead. A 7 years old boy had to cremate his 1-day old
brother. Depression was eating my mother. That's why she shifted me to stay
with my grandmother. My grandmother nurtured me till age 28, and that's
when...' He was on the edge of spilling out the truth but stopped. He continued
with a lie. '... that's when I started "Jiggle".' In reality,
"Jiggle" was his college start-up that was boosted in his last year,
and he decided to make it a full-time career. 'My mother is alive but doesn't
meet me because she says I resemble my father, and she will break down mentally
if she sees me.' He passed a smile and turned to see Richa; she quickly
wiped her tears. He parked the car on the roadside near a flower shop
and turned to face Richa. "Heyyy, what happened?" he asked. Nothing. She said, still not able to control her
tears. He had no words to care for her; he hugged her
instead. I shouldn't have asked you. she said. It's okay. He caressed her back. Lakshya was so in the moment that he didn't notice
Vaidehi's car passing beside him. Vaidehi stopped merely 25 meters away at a
coffee shop. She, too, didn't see her husband's car. Lakshya broke the hug and
went to take flowers to refresh her mood. Richa wondered how hard his life was
when tears filled her eyes and blurred her vision. Lakshya and Vaidehi stepped
out of the flower and the coffee shop simultaneously. Husband and wife only had
a few meters of distance and a small passing crowd between them. Richa saw Vaidehi with blurry vision; the former
thought she knew the latter. Vaidehi entered her car. 4 cars away. Lakshya
entered his vehicle. Lily, White Rose and Lavender diverted her. She smiled.
'That's how my love should look... always smiling'. Lakshya said. Richa gave him a peck on the cheeks. Vaidehi, sipping coffee drove straight home. Lakshya
dropped Richa off and then went home. While in the parking lot, Lakshya
thoroughly checked the car and his clothes to see if there was any evident sign
of the presence of a girl, like her hair, maybe a piece of cloth, earrings,
lipstick, flower petals or any other thing. Thankfully he found nothing. He
then lit a cigarette and exhaled it on his clothes because cigarettes are easy
to handle but a lady's perfume. He cracked his neck and took a few deep breaths
as if preparing himself to face his wife after betraying her. The door opened,
and Vaidehi hugged him. She smelled cigarettes and a slight stranger smell and
said, 'You have come after celebrating a holiday with Shiv, and there is no
cigarette smell; it cannot be so.' She passed a taunt. Ignoring the unfamiliar
perfume. Closed the door behind her. 'You know na, I don't smoke regularly,' He said
sarcastically. Unbuttoning his shirt. Where is your bag? she asked. Placing a plate at the
table. Ohhh... I forgot it in the car. Walking towards the
washroom. How was your vacation? Pouring dal in a small vessel. Refreshing. He said acting natural. Wiping his face
with a towel. Okay... so now your friend is done, let's go on a
vacation now. Sitting on a chair. He smiled, pulled her chair close, bit her earlid, and
whispered,' you mean a sex vacation. Right?' His bite sent shivers down her spine. She pushed him
away. Lakshya lifted her in his arms and landed his lips on
hers, forwarding toward the bedroom, his boner rubbing her butt, never breaking
the kiss. They lay on the bed kissing and embracing each other's curves. He
grabbed her b***s and pressed them when Vaidehi's phone on the side table
buzzed, and the screen flashed a notification that left him flabbergasted.
