Eurydice

Eurydice

A Poem by Haim Kadman
"

Desperate serching and probing.

"

Orpheus has turned

~Hades upside down,

looking desperately

~for Eurydice,

while she basked

~in the sun

on top of the Olympus;

~under the godesses’

envious eyes~

And Zeus lecherous

~observation.
