A virtual knockout

A virtual knockout

A Poem by Haim Kadman
"

An opinion.

"

It's rather surprising

when one expects

a caress of loving fingers

on his cheek,

and gets a punch instead

on his chin.

As if  it was Intended

to knock him out.

It mustn't be physical,

It can be just a few words

sometimes;

or the absence of certain

words, which might be

even worse.

It depends of course

on who has to face it;

who has to stand the

blow or who's able

to bear it with a smile,

due to experience and

good humor.

due to experience and
good humor

and yes~ dear Haim~ that is the deciding factor of how much one can tolerate in any union~ I am learning as of of late through that experience and good humor that we women and men are not so different afterall~ we come into this world asking for nothing more than to be loved~ and that's how we leave it~ the love in the in between place of beginning and end is the hard part~ thoughtful poetic presentation dear Haim~

(oh do tell about the Octo(pus)ber =)
