He was not hungry but was quite nervous, after that discussion with his intelligence head; Aygul Elmaz the man that he chose to replace Hakan Fidan. Well he brought up a quite reasonable suggestion, but it contradicts my own views on that troblesome issue. I’ll hear first of all Kavur’s opinion, and only then I’ll make my mind and address the cabinet with that harsh problem of ours. When Sacan Kavur his prime minister arrived, the president ordered his secretary to bring a pot with fresh coffee for his guest. Well sit down Sacan,’ the president muttered with impatience. ‘How are you and how are things at the parliament?’ I’m fine Your Excellency thanks so much, and Parliament is in mid session on yesterday tragic terror attack...’ ‘Oh yes,’ the president cut off the prime minister’s words, he had no intention to be remineded of yesterday’s horrors. ‘We’ve done enough yesterday by meeting our citizens, and promising them that we’ll put an end to those barbaric terror attacks; but what interests me now is your opinion on a certain suggestion, which I’ve heard this morning.’ The president added without exposing the source, he did not want to cause a jealous rivalry between his most trusted subordinates. ‘It deals with a conciliatory summit meeting with all the Kurdish deferrent representatives, including the PKK and offering our support to the annexation of Mosul and Kirkuk to the Kurdish autonomy in Iraq.’ The president added and poured a cup of coffee to his guest, as a gesture of good will, and emphasizing his trust in his guest’s loyalty and wisdom. ‘The idea of a summit meeting is superb Your Excellency, as it will stop the terror attacks on us almost completely.
