About sevearl centuries after planet earth was forsaken, due to unbearable heat that had gradually developed into an unbearable inferno, with the increased usage of oil that had not been exhausted as many scientists predicted; and the growing power of the Islamic oil producers on one hand, and the growing influence of the Islamic extremists' terror that led to bitter conflicts up to a war against terror that spread all over the globe, by large groups of radical Islamists, which caused horrendous death tolls and destruction.
Thus just a handful of survivors of both camps reached the moon, and cities were built covered with an artificial atmosphere that contained oxygen, enabling its citizens to live bneath it free, just like they were living before on planet earth.
Most of the ten milliards human beings that were left behind perished gradually, and planet earth turned into another lifeless planet orbiting the sun, as if it replaced the ex lifeless moon.
Seven city colonies were established on the moon at the very beginning of the settlement over there, and within a short time these seven colonies were united into a federation titled the Republic of Freedom.
An old democratic constitution was adapted, with an elected president, a house of public representatives, and a high court of justice, the three branches of democratic government.
At the beginning of the year 2335 the current president was at the end of his term, and the 2336 election presidential campaign was started. The current ruling party the Enlightened Plebs, has disappointed the citizens of The Republic of Freedom; and it was quite certain that its rival the Lofty Aristocrats, will win the elections without the slightest difficulty. The imminent threat of losing the power was discussed in an urgent convention of the Enlightened Plebs, and one of its prominent members promised to solve the problem and ensure the election of the party's candidate.
This prominent member called an old friend of his, which could run as a candidate of both parties; and persuaded him to submit his request to run as a Lofty Aristocrats candidate. It was a brilliant idea and its aim was to get rid of the most threatening Lofty Aristocrats' candidates, which could defeat with ease the Enlightened Plebs final candidate.
While no one among this party prominent members expected their Tojan horse to succeed as he did, which might encourage him to defeat their candidate, and be elected as president; while he was supposed to pave the way for the Enlightened Plebs candidate to the presidency throne. Thus a second urgent convention took place, in which it was decided to cause riots at their Trojan horse election rallies, because he that was not aware to the fact that all he had to do was to pave their candidate's way to the presidency throne, started to fancy being president himself.
