 The Sphinx

Although

I'm not travelling

to Egypt lately

a Sphinx keeps visiting

my dreams repeatedly.

It's rather nice

that without a visa

I meet him here

and not in Giza.

On the other hand

he hasn't opened

his mouth yet,

and thus maybe

I'd better meet

the Oracule

of Delfi,

half his words

I can't understand

but I can always

pretend

that I'm listening,

and I do comprehend

his predictions

on my fate
