Resounding reflections

A poem

 

 

Sometimes I wonder

 

~where you may be

 

withdrawn in despair

 

~despite your charms

 

or laughing carelessly

 

~in someone else arms

 

distraught scenes

 

~flood my brain,

 

daylight nightmares

 

~haunt my conscience.
