Minus threeA Poem by hjcmthe difference between
midnight and black spread out in a degree across the whole dome of
sky above and the street lights
sodium and glaring my vision limit the moon and stars above bedim the small detail my
eyes can distinguish cold sets in between
fibres of glove and on lips just moistened but my cough is warm and
tears my chest over sparkling ground my
feet tread and the laughs are far
behind my frozen path at least there is oxygen even if it is malicious
against my throat and condenses plumes of
shortened breath I walk in monochrome grass
pavement road gleaming and showing me to the
radiant unlocked door © 2010 hjcmReviews
