What can I say

What can I say

A Poem by Call Me Blu

What can I say

To make you realize

That I can't stand the thought

Of losing him to you

Even if I never had him

It still hurts

Your smiles like daggers

Your frowns like feathers

Since when do I hate

The people I care the most about?

It scares me sometimes

The feeling of dread

When I never want to see

My closest friends

I just want to be able to

Go a day without hate

Not have to plaster a smile

On my sad lonely face

What can I say to him

That will make him realize

Your just in it for his looks

He's just one of your guys

Since when do I want to

Hurt you

My best and closest

Friend

Why do I get joy from seeing

You

Fall?

Ouch. This is absolutely amazing! I just love how you conjure so much emotions in your poems. The pain here is just very strong. Love can tear friendships which is even more painful than anyting. Great write! I love it a lot.

Ah, sometimes this seems to be the story of my life. I like how this style of writing is the stream of conscientiousness. I guess this seems like a common teen theme: the loneliness and friendships that bring us apart and tear us all up into shreds. Good job communicating these ideas! As a next step, maybe you could work a little on flow. Nonetheless, this was great. Thanks for sharing!
