One word

One simple

Crazy

Meaningless word

And my life fell to pieces

It was never uttered aloud

Yet it hung thick

Between me and

You

Them

Everyone

No one could escape

It blacked out all the love

The glow had left my life

It felt like someone

Was killing me slowly

Draining out my life

I never had many friends

I always lost them fast

But one day I decided

Dod damn that is the last

Time the word will ruin

Me

My life

My friends

So I swept up my shattered life

Tossed it in the trash

Replaced it with love

And I was free at last

No longer could hate rule me
