The old me

The old me

A Chapter by Call Me Blu

I miss her

She was clever and nice

Never thought twice

The weight of the world was off her shoulders

Smallest pebbles weren't treated like giant boulders

That all changed

Can't tell you the day

The time or the year

But it wasn't here

It wasn't her fault

Some dark thing stirred

And from a bluebird a raven emerged

Dark, cynical and violent

Her eyes hardened steel her blood runs violet

The monster took her over

Not drugs or "bend over"

Her mind warped wood

To aged to be good

She'll never be back

That part of me i will always lack

I miss her
