Fallen on dead ears

title inspired by a typo

I scream to you

But my cries of rage

Fall upon you dead ears

They have passed hearing me

Now they simple are shut

Like the rest of you

Your hearing is done

I am no longer angry

Now I cry

I let myself wash you in salt

As I crumble to the floor

My sobs falling

On dead ears

Any of my dark poems such as this are not based on real instances, just a gateway through which I let up any anger or frustration.

this is very interesting. i really liked it. when i was reading it, i imagined someone saying every line but sort of gasp-sobbing it. did that make sense? i really get the emotion. you did a wonderful job :D

This is an interesting write. When read at a slow pace, the emotion shows through. perhaps some punctuation would help. a few commas and full stops would force the reader to slow down. I read it too fast on my first read and nearly missed it.
