A simplistic approach

A simplistic approach

A Poem by Call Me Blu
"

Number 1

"

The scorn onto which was received by fair lady Catherine

As she fled from her fathers horrid fury

Into the blissful arms of her doting lover

This lover was unlike many of himself

Full of pure passion and no feeling

This lover swept our fair hero away from

The evil contained within the shell of a man

She sat upon her barrier

As she let herself be carried

Many thoughts of breaking her barrier

And plunging into her lovers awaiting arms

Crossed her fragile mind

But her lover let some of himself

Through the barrier and his icy sting

Brought brought Catherine to her knees

As she scrambled to fix the small leak

Then the lover would settle back contented

She danglled her hair and toes

Precariously over the3 thin edging

As she bathed in the sun

And slowly let herself be taken

Away from her troubles
