Under the bottle

Under the bottle

A Poem by Call Me Blu
"

A poem

"

Call upon me not so I may do as you please

Call upon me because you miss my presence

I shall not respond to a man with closed heart

And open mouth

For if liquour rules over our kingdom

Then it's seperation from our court of judge

Shall be one of many triumphs

Too many souls have been consumed by the bottle

I will not see the one I hold so near

Off to join the many lost souls

I will pull you from the rubble of your desicions

And repair your shattered mind

But I will not return to your side

If you continue onto me as if I am but a dog

You must save yourself

For I cannot, nor will I try, to control you

I may seem a child now

But every seed that is planted shall grow

And you will remember me

Long after I have left your side

Even as you fall slowly into oblivion

I will hide in your shadow

And regret for you

But I will not feel for you
