Equal give

Do you agree?

We often seem to forget the simple givers in life

We give maybe to much credit to our parents and teachers

And to our soldiers and preachers

Yet none to the cow who made a delicous sacrifice

 

We have mothers and fathers day

And we celebrate veterans and leaders

Yet the crowd is smaller in the other teams bleachers

For the small teary eyed children, who could not keep abuse at bay

 

Are we afraid to speak out for them?

Or do we see no reason

To celebrate the bravery of the battered and beaten

Their tormenters souls, may the devil condemn
