StruggleA Poem by Call Me BluLight and dark fightRun away with me into a sliver of moonlight We will be happy there
If only I could beleive you But I slip into the shadows
Molten silver will eventually ruin your kingdom of dark Its glow will overpower the beings that reside there
Yet darkness must be if there is light For if there is no dark, how is light perceived
Light may need dark, but dark has no purpose in day Light always pushes it from the sky
And darkness pushes right back when nigh again prevails Masking all but the moon in its accursed state
Aha! So you admit that darkness is never truly dark And that only light can overpower all
But even on the sunniest days a large tree may provide shelter This tree casts a shadow and darkens your light
Dark without light would be nothing As would light without dark They must learn to reside in peace © 2010 Call Me BluReviews
