To Romeo 1

To Romeo 1

A Poem by Sincerely Juliet
"

My first piece to share.

"
The book was ending too soon
There's nothing more left to do
Sometimes endings can be tragic too
I guess happily ever after wasn't for you

Your rocket couldn't make it to the moon
For days I thought you saw it too
You said you'd take me to the city
I guess city of stars was too good to be true

It started at gloomy Sunday
Remember the rose you gave me that day
It was June, and it was my birthday
Months before you took my sunshine away

Monday, things are blurry out here
Tuesday, can't see but I can hear
Wednesday, I can smell all your judgments from here
Thursday, no fun, just regrets and fear

How did Friday go?
May fifth last year was so
So much pain to look back
Hold on, Don't let go

Memories, miseries
Flashbacks, hold backs
It's just a story, our story I've slightly told
Your jazz won't hold you, like I would
