Once Upon A Time I Broke A Heart

As I talk to him. A smile comes across my face. My insides becomes happy. Im happy. I think of the past and how it used to be with the two of us. How we used to be held in each others arms. How we used to kiss each others lips. The smile vanishes. I look up from the ground that my eyes lay across. I touch my heart. It feels empty. Hopeless. A tear rolls down my cheek. He says something that makes me laugh. I don't know why, but I can never help but smile. Even when tears of sadness travle down my face. Do I still like him? I know I still like him. My heart feels empty. When I'm with him, it fills right back up. This I say is the complete truth. This is I say is no lie. Another tear rolls down my face as I hear him ask what's wrong.
