Face Toward The Wind

Face Toward The Wind

A Poem by his better half

Sometimes we got to stand with our face towards the wind
It may knock is down, but we can always get back up again
Sometimes we got to face the music, even though we may not like the song that plays
And sometimes our comeuppance comes due, and a big price we got to pay

Face towards the wind, and let it blow through your hair
But to face the wind, you should always be prepared
It can be a gentle breeze or a big damaging storm
Sometimes that wind is cold, other times its warm

But as long as you anchor yourself down
You can take being blown around
Who knows what can happen you can end up some place better
Where you dont get sucked in by a tornado and bashed around in bad weather
