Gardening

A Poem by his better half

Sunshine and rainy days
Planting seeds in the ground
Out in the garden
Is where this garden ho’ can be found

Picking out packets of flower seeds
Helping them grow
I am ready right now
But there is one slight problem
We still have snow

Picking a vine ripe tomato
Warmed by the sun
To me is the best thing
And growing them is so much fun

This is what makes me happy
I am smiling right now
Gardening is good for the soul
And so is a brand new garden plow
