The Ugly Side of Being Human

The ugly side of being human is the ability of self-distruction!

They don't know what goes on inside her head,

They don't know about the numerous tears she's shed.

They don't understand her pain,

They will never understand why she felt so insane.

 

No one will know she is dieing inside.

No one will know she lost all pride.

No one could help or be by her side.

She stands by the sea waiting to be taken by the tide.

 

The world has alienated her and made her a lone,

Now she wishes she was a goner.

Why doesn't anyone see,

That poor girl just wanted to be?

 

She cries out for everyone to leave her alone,

They've hurt her to the bone.

But they didn't know her life was so tough,

She finally had enough.

 

By the sea she will wait,

To see what happens with her fate.

The people who "loved" her finally decided to help

Not knowing it was far too late.

 

Now she rests in peace with the sea,

Now everyone will just let her be.

She finally got what she wanted

By her pain and grieve she no longer is haunted.

 

Sometimes people are so blinded by their own happy and perfect life,

They can't see that someone they supposedly love is dieing on the inside.

We can't help it,

It's just human nature.
