It's Nothing

 

What is that?

A light?

What is it?

It's too far out of my sight!

 

Up Ahead,

Do you see it?

It's coming to save me

From this bottomless pit!

 

You wouldn't believe

How this feels to me!

I'm finally escpaing from here,

From my personal Nothing.

 

It's so close!

I see the light.

Goodbye my Nothing

I will soon take off in flight!

 

What is the light,

You ask?

Well it's something

Similar to a mask.

 

It will hide the Nothing

Like a blind-fold.

And get rid of the loneliness

Or so I've been told.

 

I see it now!

The light is love.

But how long will it last

'til it flies away, like a dove?

 

After it's gone

I'll be once again

Alone and scared

Without a man.

 

Wasteing away

In my own personal Nothing.

I like the way that it reads fast. Its got a beat to it, a good structure! Plus the content is cool too!! the light as a metaphor for love, and how you desire salvation to an extreme point...I like the last two lines!
