Red rose

Red rose

A Poem by hillary manyaza

When I saw you for the first time something stepped my heart.
Your eyes were as shinely as stars.
Your voice murdered my mind.
The way you smiled its showed your beauty.
Then I began to call you:

My red rose,
My queen Esther,
My diamond.

I can't look at your eyes because
You are so beautiful.
I always watch you walk away.
I want to tell you how I feel about you, but I can't.
I want to tell you but I am too afraid.
I want to tell you but I am too shy
Because I know I don't have a chance.

You are my red rose,
My queen Esther,
My diamond.

One day you looked at me with bird's eye and smiled.
My mind went bank and I fall apart.
Then I watch you walk away,
Because you are too beautiful for me.

But I will always call you,
My diamond,
My queen Esther,
My red rose
