Out of the Dark WoodsA Poem by A.A.Romanczuk
You caught me in the selva oscura of thought
As Winter began to paint the streets depressed
Grey and ash white- You took the frozen crux of me
And brought it to the fire of your exquisite kindness
My inner eyes fluttered open wide as if seeing
The very first dawn, I took your shapely hand in mine
And placed a gentle blossom of confidence in it
Our souls smiled at each other and embraced
Pulling us down the road of unknown endings.
