Repression

Repression

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Your letters I had annihilated, but the words still remain

If I search for them in the deep caverns of my mind

The memories are rivers trapped under frozen blood

I have sought to exile you from the particles of my being

Wherefore then do you insist upon remembering yourself to me?

The "price of admission"... saying "I Love You" always has a cost.
