Destitute

Destitute

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Forayed by the gelid November atmosphere

I stalk the destitute crescent moon

Confounded by perpetually grey, weeping skies

Not a single star ventures to smile tonight

I am forced to contemplate

The dimples in your Spring-time eyes

even when the stars are hidden by clouds in the night , I still reach for them , tracing the memories of their path

I like this piece a lot. I see a great sense of longing for a reverde that demonstrates the despair and fear to come before then, making this piece a fantastic display of emotion. Great work.
