The Fall of Fall

The Fall of Fall

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

November rain plunges the city into suicidal depression

Caving in my rainbow umbrella

Crunchy leaf corpses provide

A walk-way upon which to slip and slide

The trees temporarily blossom into the height

Of vibrant autumn hues

Only to fall into the night

Shivering and naked

As December prepares to extend

Its Authoritarian arm.

This is how I feel about Old Man Winter rearing his head. smh...
Beautiful work. You've painted a landscape with words.
