UndressingA Poem by A.A.RomanczukEmbarrassed by Her beauty, O how the trees do blush To watch Earth slowly undressing As the glorious month unravels Indecisive September...the month that we first met I collect thoughts into my golden net Pretending to be a fisherman And release them into the rain As it drenches my clothes, entering The house of my soul Frigid, nourishing sorrow... O how the trees shall soon relinquish Their garish clothes to please their Lady With the simplicity of shapely limbs. © 2011 A.A.RomanczukReviews
