Tragic Figure

Tragic Figure

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

You stand there waiting with the majesty of a tragic figure

A Grecian warrior perhaps - a man marked for sorrow

By the mysterious gods

Yet your smile lights up to look upon my countenance

As you crown me with undeserved epithets

Words like honey come from your shapely lips

It is as if a thousand Springs blossomed into a thousand Summers

Such is the sunrise in your eyes

You do not yet know I understand

I do not yet know how to feel

Strange, but the hero outline here is much like a figure ,a character
in dostoyvsky Crime,Raskolnikoff..how i pondered that psyche a lot
so tragic and so disturbed, yet with a heart no one will ever have
he will stand so melancholy ,yet when he brightens, his words
shines like the sun when it first show so early,so ematiated and thin
but so pregnant with thoughts, like a mind of a giant,a giant mind
how i am reminded with this when i read here the sunrise in your eyes
and you splatter me(you) with words i dont deserve,i think its because he just knows better
he always knew lots better than many fools like us now,and we stay..
i really liked this ,there is always much depth behind your words, stunning

wow! allow me to just stand in awe for a moment and admire the beauty of this poem! it's splendid! and i'm really envious for the last four lines -
"It is as if a thousand Springs blossomed into a thousand Summers
Such is the sunrise in your eyes
You do not yet know I understand
I do not yet know how to feel"
