Pleading For Salvation

Pleading For Salvation

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Stealthily I slip into the light

Begging it to touch me

There where the loneliness lies

There where the crickets won't sing

And the butterfly hides its wings

Where your name wreaks havoc like

The furious monsoon wind

I stare at the rosy horizon

Not a creature stirs to share my plight
