Defiance

Defiance

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

My bare feet sashay over
Weary, wet earth shrinking from the firmament
As it casts down angry tears
The Wind god appears to desire to
Snap my hunched form into asymmetrical bits
Little I defiantly raise my head
And dance for victory
Against the wretched elements
