DoneA Poem by A.A.RomanczukThe tense, twisted knots in my body and
Stony flames in my "I'm Done" gaze
Melted away in waves
Under the sweetness of your love-radiating gaze
You held me to yourself
Sucking out the poison
Wrapping around my soul
Your warmth diffusing underneath my skin
I found a smile for you
Hidden behind the burning walls of
"I can weather this"
Enough
Enough you thought
And sent me off
Off with a million thoughts running
Through my head
Each one of you...
I had gleaned enough strength from your arms
To weather this
Though I had not had enough of you
