Dreary

Dreary

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

I walked as dreary as the day

Plagued and beaten by the rain

Who like a most attentive lover

Left not an inch of me undiscovered

And long and deeply did I ponder

And long and far did I wander

But not a single clear thought did me enlighten

Not a single bird did my burden lighten

I walked as dreary as the day
