Hope of Resurrection

Hope of Resurrection

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Sunny dandelions are tangled
In passionate embraces with
My tangled masses of hair
Nodding to Old Man Willow
I follow the dirt path
With unshod feet
Down to the murky peridot river
I kiss her as if she were Juliet
The Queen of my Heart of hearts
As the lucky storks fish for Frog Princes
Not to kiss but to devour...
I shall fish for wildflowers
To fill my castle coffer
I breathe in the resurrecting air thinking that
You are not necessary after all
