The True Spirit Of Poetry

The True Spirit Of Poetry

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

The true spirit of poetry

Lies not in set meters

And rhyming schemes

The true spirit of poetry

Lies in that place

We struggle to name

Ohh how true and well said..i usually write short stories
i learned poetry here ..i ve reviewed some of the best poetry here
some were so great..i was so touched by their creative writings
and yes i never knew anything about what you said, meters and rhyming schemes
but i was curious about this thing you tell as we could never name..
its something hidden in the mind of the poet, his words though told by so many others ,
but told by him they had very different meanings..you are right
these were true poets ,meter or not, rhyming or not..they were amazing
lovely write..

yes, and a good poem, like any pure thought, is never an accident, and speaks the person behind it

oh how I understand this beautiful pearl~ poetry is the soul in translation~ the heart in exposure~ the only place where we peel back all the layers to expose who we are~
beautiful!~
