There Is Nothing Wrong

There Is Nothing Wrong

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Vapors of rum reach my nostrils

Your eyes are vacant

I watch You stagger

You are not drunk

Of course

There is nothing

Wrong

Of course

Of course

Of course

Of course

I take Your insults silently

I nod

I serve

I try not to explode

In anger

In despair, disgust

My heart calls out to God

How much longer, Lord?

How much longer, must I endure?

You are like a child

Capricious

You prod and prod

You desire an argument

You desire a victim

I watch You fall asleep

Slumped over a chair

There is nothing wrong

You are not an alcoholic

And I am a silly, ignorant

Little girl

There is nothing wrong wrong ..i see everything is wrong here
i see a bully tries to intimidate innocence..thats how it goes lots these days
they try to pick up a fight,to prove their manhood,,how silly
while she tries to swollow her pride, contain her anger
and even to please the wild beast..only he could never rest
he needs a victom..and she is so fit, till the animal slumped over a chair
yes there is nothing wrong ..on the standards of these days
for lots of butchery is done ,and still there is nothing wrong..
lovely write..

It's a lovely, tragic poem. I've seen far too many of these stories.
