Murmuring Brook

Murmuring Brook

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Murmuring brook surrounded by Sun

Chortling over the bird's idle chatter

The nimble squirrels pitter-patter

The Wind dances upon Your ice-clad

Sapphire waters

Creating waves of silvery sheen

Sensuously You wind over the

Curves of the sighing land

Enchanted by Your fairy presence

Illuminated by Sun and

Framed by eerie Winter woods

Murmuring, ever impatient brook

Spreading infectious laughter

i have to agree with the other reviewers, you laid this piece of writing out very well. i can picture everything, you painted the picture very well.

i also like how you capitalized things like "wind", "sun", "winter", etc. it give a certain person-like quality to them and make them seem like actual characters in your poem. nice job!

...
. yeah ... a beautiful place ... and reminds me of "the brook" ... "for men may come and men may go but i go on forever" ... tennyson, was it? ... you'd know i'm sure ... :) ... for some strange reason ... i only remember oscar wilde's lines and ed's lines ... in other instances ... i can remember the lines but not the poets ... i guess it's because they are both my heroes ... anyway ... beautiful poem ... :) ...
