Marigolds

Marigolds

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Marigolds,marigolds
Yellow and bright
Strewn across the veil of night
Her gaze falls upon
A distant moon
But sees only Him
God is here, God is there
Everywhere
Dwelling in her heart
A quiet sigh
A whispered...
Alas!
She sees Him in her mind's eye
She feels His embrace
Though far, far from Him
She is

There is a wondrous, deep beauty in your words.. Soft like a song, the music of the night plays through, and God's presence brings a comfort.. even in the distance.. Beautiful...

I really liked the tone and pace of this and the opening line was awesome. I don't think you are as far from Him as you think, whatever Him is. You cant be far, look in the mirror...their He is.
