Stay AliveA Poem by A.A.Romanczuk
Lustrous tears of blood
Cascading down your arm Your wretched face white with pain Less painful than the sorrow Carried by your heart Tormented Bleeding numbly Life has long left your body The heart may beat The lungs may breathe But death has settled on your breast Smileless and hurting Going through every monotone day And there is no one to save you No one who hears your Listless cries Ruined Your butterfly soul crushed By demon claws Your body limp with fatigue As you syphon away the day's pain How much longer can you endure? Please stay alive for me.. Don't go away.. © 2010 A.A.RomanczukFeatured Review
