I Shall

I Shall

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

I shall sit quietly
And reflect
By evening's dimming light
I shall sit, hand clasped in hand
And say not a word of reproach
Listening in dejected state
To those words that you are kind enough
To throw at me
I shall reflect on happier times
To quell the stabbing pain
I shall think
You are not well
And leave it at that
I shall drink
This tea in silence
And drift away in slumber
I shall awake
And hope that You are better.

Ohh what loveliness..pure soul ,non ever seen like it
i forgive you everything..even words i wait for to relish
i sit just like that and wait..its a cloud soon to be gone
i dont blame,i wait and ponder on how happy i was
not a word,i dont feel the pain i you cause
it must be your spirit not that well
and i wait ,i sleep hoping
that once i am awake i find you better and
shine at me..as i still wait ..forever
such little stories told of such purity of heart
never asking much, still asking a lot
to see you laugh and smile
and if not i wait for it
lovely write..

to the light seeping in
through the lace curtain of
this golden evening,
i shall relay images
of your smiles and
clasped fists from
our golden past.

in those purple dusks,
i shall continue to breathe
and hope
that you do too!!
