Sleep Fails To Grasp Me

Sleep Fails To Grasp Me

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Rain in torrents falls within a reclining body
Reclining brings no respite
Weariness seeps through faltering bones
And pierces the dandelion soul
Let gentle Sleep take me
Her hands fail to grasp me
I am alone tonight
Surrounded by blinding darkness
With only Thoughts to tear me further
Apart
Solutions come, Solutions go
I stumble softly through these muddled meadows
Helplessness escaping these very eyes
Which night is this now that I sleep not again?
Worry tis Worry
Over various items
Words contradictory Words
Wherefore love I them so?
Distracted, I am Distracted
Full of Sorrow, I am full of Sorrow
Patience, Patience, of Her have I plenty
But She does not disguise Sorrow
Tomorrow, Will Tomorrow bring Reconcilliation?

with these delectable words - you bring to a ravishing life - the complexity and the simplicity of the human emotion - and if it weren't 2 in the morning here, dear friend - with sunlight would have shone in and promised reconciliation - but the stars and the moon - they are mere house-guests - and to slumber - they can simply bow their agreement!!!!!

Ah, how delightfully You garnish my simple words...
You stay up so late, friend? Well..it is true...that inspiration often comes in the most unexpected moments..
Have You ever just been dozing off to sleep and then...an idea comes ??
It's wildly beautiful yet extremely frustrating at times :)
